The Loom is Loomis Chaffee's student-run literary magazine. Twice a year we publish a collection of original student writing and artwork. When students are not working on the biannual publications, The Loom serves as a literary society and club on campus. We aim to foster a strong relationship between the literary and visual arts and to provide a space for students to share their own poetry and creative writing.​

Due to the current global pandemic, we were not able to publish our regular spring edition, which would have been printed in hard copy. Instead, we are now online for the spring 2020 publication! Unlike our fall online edition, the spring issue is not themed, so please enjoy the wide variety of creative writing, art, and photography. In this time of uncertainty, we hope that the pieces submitted by LC students can bring you some comfort, joy, and perspective.
