i wish i could start over

perhaps write my book again

an artless chapter without issues

the toxic and cries

with no ink dancing across the page

no stains from my tears that get worse by age

or blank spaces where no one was there by my side

with no scrawled scribbles because i barely even tried

just a blank page with possibility

with no written end

that maybe

just maybe

will unlock my caged heart

and let myself live beyond time
